Bio ~ Inga-Lill Guzik

She was born in Sweden and immigrated with her family to California very young, at age nine immigrated back to Sweden and remained there until age 21 when she again moved to California and married David in 1983.

Her parents became believers in California and they attended the Lutheran church for many years. Knowing the Lord at a young age she then in her teen years completely surrendered her heart and chose to serve God wherever He wanted her.

In 1980 she traveled from Sweden to attend Calvary Chapel’s Bible School in Twin Peaks, Ca and there met David. After a long distance relationship of more than 2 years they married and settled in Ventura, California.

In 1982 David had just started pastoring a new founded church. Since 1983 she has been active in church ministry in various capacities, teaching and leading weekly women’s groups, college groups, retreats, church events and Sunday school for all ages.

Her passion is to see women grow in their knowledge of God through the Word, grow in their personal lives to be used by God and themselves become passionate about the area of influence God has given them.

Since 1989 Inga-Lill has been traveling to other churches to speak at special events and conferences. Her warm, personal, direct approach in teaching and encouraging women has blessed many worldwide. She has a special place in her heart for training others to become leaders and teachers amongst women.

After 7 years serving at CC Oxnard and 14 years in Simi Valley, in 2003 David accepted the call to come to Germany to become the Director and teacher at Calvary Chapel Bible College. There she taught classes for the female students as well as traveling to many other churches in Germany and other countries to share and inspire women to live wholeheartedly for God.

In 2010 David became the Senior Pastor of CC Santa Barbara, a thriving church on California’s central coast. David is known for his online Bible commentary at Enduringword.com. He has recently stepped out of his senior pastor role and is now teaching/missions pastor. With more freedom they see more opportunity to spend time close and abroad to encourage pastors and leaders together.

Missions have always played a huge part of her life and especially dental missions in 3rd world countries. She travels with groups or alone as God leads. Basically, being the dentist where there is no dentist and providing most dental care needs to the poor. Countless trips to Mexico but also to Romania, Egypt, Nicaragua, Peru, Haiti, Thailand, Nepal, Trinidad, Athens and many more trips are planned. In 2013 she spent 3 weeks on board the Africa Mercy Ship in Congo.

They have 3 children Ann-Sofie age 30, Nathan 29, and Jonathan 26 married to Sara, giving her and David granddaughter Sirena 5 and brother Jay almost 2.

In her free time, which isn’t much she loves to water paint, swim, read and have coffee with friends and go on walks or tandem bike rides with her husband.
